Hikes with Snowshoes

Snowshoeing trips at the foot of the Marmolada

Snowshoes (or ciaspole) are an ideal way to get along the snow-covered paths of the Val Pettorina and the Marmolada glacier

In addition to the caution that should always be exercised when hiking in summer, remember that snow and the winter environment are continually subject to change.

Before setting off, never forget to consult the Avalanche Report and to find out about the technicaldifficulties your chosen itinerary presents.

Inexperienced walkers and those unfamiliar with the area are strongly recommended to enlist the assistance of Alpine or Hiking Guides.
